The FRS plays a system of six transmitters and has a specialized reach of around 220,000 individuals. Establishment, support and change of the transmitter are done without anyone else. The Free Radio Salzkammergut along these lines creates capabilities that advantage the whole non-business broadcasting division in Austria.
