Abdul Rashid Ali Sufi is a Somali Qur’an reciter. He was conceived in 1964 to the reciter and minister Ali Abdul Rahmane Sufi, who completed a considerable measure for the Qur’an recitation in Somalia.
Abdul Rashid Ali Sufi went to Egypt in 1981 where he selected in the Qur’an Recitations establishment and earned a high authentication in the ten recitations. In parallel, Abdul Rashid completed investigations in Al Azhar Mosque and was granted by the late Sheik Mohamed Ibn Ismail Al Hamdani two degrees in the ten recitations.
